What's the concept?
Priest!Cas' and Dean. I saw on Tumblr a few days ago a photo of Misha with a priest outfit for his new webseries, Divine.
It must be because of Richard Chamberlain in The Thorn Birds that I use to watch when I was a kid but I have a little priest outfit!kink
Misha looking really hot with these clothes, I thought it could be the occasion to draw a fan art with priest!Cas and add Dean somewhere in the middle.
An inspiration?
I completely fell in love with this photo I found on the Internet some time ago and I really wanted to draw an art inspired by it. It was the right occasion! There is something very erotic about it.
This drawing seems a little bit different from usual...
I have to share my joy with the world: I have a new graphic tablet. I forgot about my old Wacom Graphire 4 and finally bought a Bamboo Fun (also by Wacom). The things you can do with that tablet! It's more precise, more subtle, the brush dynamic and the pen pressure are really different from my Graphire. I draw faster now!! I am SO happy to have it right on time for the Big Bang!!

As for the piece, I adore the lighting you used here. The red glow against the black shadows is so very striking.

Talk about a heavenly scene... it is so serene just as a baptism should be (and so spiritual). You can almost feel the presence of God within the picture.
You did a wonderful, wonderful job here. The use of color is wonderful as well, it reminds me of one of those old fashioned churches with a steeple and the wooden pews all leading up to the alter before which Castiel baptises our hero Dean... ♥

I swapped my old graphire for an Intuous just recently and the extra sensitivity levels are great. It hasn't helped me draw faster though - I think that must be your artistic super-power *g*

Date: 2011-05-22 05:39 pm (UTC)I didn't know either! I thought it was the same thing as the Graphire but it's in fact much better. It took me time to get use to it, I wasn't very familiar with the brush dynamic and pen pressure, but now, I don't regret dropping the Graphire for the Bamboo ^^
I think that one day or another, I will buy an Intuous but for the moment, I keep my Bamboo.
