Date: 2013-08-03 03:52 pm (UTC)No problem :) I used to do it with ImageReady but now I use PS CS6 and it works like a charm. It's a bit complicated at first because you can make a confusion between the various animation frames but in the end, it's pretty easy \o/

Aah, I still can't get over how freaking gorgeous all of this is! I love, love, love all the hearts and thread and the blood (man I love the blood). I know that I've already flailed over your colours ad nauseam, but I seriously can't get enough of them, and I'll never stop being stunned by how well you capture body language and facial expressions. Also, I didn't notice that the gif pulsed until I posted it (properly, this time!) and it's just wonderful and the whole idea falls somewhere between beautiful and creepy. And again with the light source being his heart and the way it pushes his face into shadow is just. Ugh. Perfect.
I have been making everyone in my house look at your art because I just love it all - you now have a little fanclub at my house. ^^

Cherry on the top of the cake: people love your fic, they are mad about this medical procedure you invented and it's fully deserved! :D

There was everything I loved in it! In addition: YAH FOOD!! I didn't expect to draw cute stuff for this story to be honest! The summary was rather dark and mysterious but when I read that Jensen was a baker, I couldn't help drawing cute desserts in addition to bloody hearts and gears. This fic was perfect for me: gore and cakes ^^;;
Also, I didn't notice that the gif pulsed until I posted it
Your fic is called "The BEAT of our noisy hearts", it would have been a pity not to exploit this in the banner, no? The banner was actually pretty easy to do and I had a lot of fun animating the beating heart :D

Date: 2013-08-04 10:45 am (UTC)I do it with time, patience, TONS of reference picture and...aspirin, for my headaches. I don't know how many times I had to rework the poster art, I was never satisfied. But now, it's over, at last \o/
Oh, yes, I had fun with colors and food. I love drawing food, particularly cute food. I think it's an influence I kept from my "manga days". I can spend hours on Tumblr browsing the food tag and looking photos of bentos and "kawaii food".

Yes, Jensen has a missing heart, a hole in his chest but he has a watch because when you look at photos of Jensen he always have a big watch. Same for a lot of details :) That's how I work ^^

Date: 2013-08-05 10:38 am (UTC)That's my trademark: light sources that come a bit out of nowhere but that look cool at the end ^^;; Sometimes light sources in my artworks don't always make sense from a pure technical point of view but never mind ^^
I don't know how I managed to make gore look cute, though. My addition to "kawaii" and cute Japanese mascots must have influenced me somehow :D
