Wow, I have to read this story now. The comic is total LOVE. I'm beyond impressed, especially with the picture of Jared upside-down and bleeding, and the group subway scenes. And I confess, I have a thing for pills. Drawing them, anyway.
(FYI, the first image, 'Page 1', is broken.) NEVERMIND. You fixed it!

I love drawing pills too ^^ I think it came from the fact I was a fan of Akira and there was a lot of pills in this manga.
Yes, IDK why page 1 was suddenly broken! I uploaded all the images at the same time in my scrapbook and everything worked just fine...until the moment I posted. I had to reupload the page ^^;; Argh, LJ ^^;;

Loneliness: Absolutely beautiful! This is quite a depressing piece but I love this one the most! The look on Jensen's face, his pose, the overall blue, and the cast shadows through the blinds ^^
Fate: Oh man, again a crowdy background! XD It's a lovely piece, the way you shaded this really makes the boys stand out! :D
Happiness: Aww... This one's really sweet ^_^ If I were that lady I'd be staring at them LOL X)
Love: Okay, I might've stared at this one for a few minutes xD hot, sweaty porn completes everything! :p xixixi
Your banners and divider are amazing pieces on their own! They're beautiful and I love the animation on the community banner!

Date: 2012-11-28 09:02 am (UTC)I'm exhausted but when I see your comment, I feel better because I know it was worth it. (I worked on this one, the second prompt and the other comics I sent you, practically at the same time -____- )
Loneliness: That's funny because it's everybody's favorite (including my author) but I drew it in about 3 hours, in front of the TV. I wasn't even paying attention to what I was doing. xD
Fate: When I started this one, I couldn't help thinking "WHY, WHY did I set the plot in the subway?!!" I mean seriously? Complicated background, crowded place, lots of details >< Next time, my RBB will take place in Sahara desert.
Happiness: I would stare too if I had J2 next to me ^^ I remember I had a lot of fun drawing the lady's hair. IDK why but I think she looks like a Burlesque dancer.
Love: This art alone is the reason why my RBB is hosted at Smallworld and not petite-madame. If I don't draw porn for a RBB, when am I gonna draw porn? xD
CS6 is very good. The color rendering is beautiful. It takes time to get used to it. Everything seems plastic at the start and the colors are very bright but that's ok. I love using Painter 12 with it, it gives pretty good results!

I don't know what else to say, I love the reds in amongst the blues and I'm just really happy to see this finally :D Can't wait till Dec. 3rd now.

Date: 2012-11-28 09:18 am (UTC)I try not to make it obvious because otherwise, it doesn't blend well with the rest. I love it when everything is coherent. It's awful when you can see a difference between a hand-drawn line art and a line art taken from a photo. It's less a problem when you work with Manga Studio and screentones but with PS, it has to be subtle. I didn't have the time to draw 5 or 6 times the same complicated background so I used photography.
Did you do the lines in PS as well? That's amazing!
Yes, I used PS for line arting ^^ I used a brush from the default brushes set. Hard brush, 4px, no texture, nothing. 100% opacity. However, when you get rid of the CG colors and textures, you can see that the line art is pretty basic ^^
