Welcome to the Master Post of the 30 day OTP Challenge. This challenge is inspired by a list posted by Ericandy on their Tumblr. From August 6th, 2012 and during 30 days I posted on Tumblr one art a day following the prompts below. I chose J2 (Jared/Jensen) as my OTP.

I decided to set the action in College so, all the art pieces listed below can be seen as a kind of College AU story featuring Young!Jared and Jensen. For once, I drew something simple (no kidding!). Simple colors, simple line arting, simple palette (the banner above gives you an idea of the art style of this meme). No way I was gonna draw something über complicated everyday during 30 days. I hope you enjoy it. (The NSFW art are tagged appropriately)

OTP TRIVIA

Is there a fic that goes with the art?

No, it was just drawn for the 30 day OTP challenge and isn't based on any fic in particular even if it can fit a lot of college!AUs written in this fandom.

I thought that Sam & Dean was your OTP?

I will never be able to choose between J2 and S/D. However, there's a reason why I chose J2: I wanted to draw something cute, something fresh, something happy. If I had chosen Sam and Dean I KNOW it would have been dark, dark, dark even on prompts that can seem pretty joyful. I enjoy drawing death!art a bit too much so you can be sure that if the art above had Sam & Dean in it, I would have killed the boys at least 6 or 7 times. Better some cute J2, huh? ^^

Is there any particular reason why J2 have the numbers 23 and 82 on their respective shirt?

Nope! It's just that I liked those particular numbers with this font. For a question of coherence, the boys kept the same numbers on their clothes until the last art of the challenge but it's just because I thought it looked good. Don't try to find any particular meaning or reference to "23" and "82".

Tools of the trade?

Photoshop CS4. Line art with a hard default brush set to 5px. Color with the paint bucket and a bit of gradients to make everything less boring.

When I see the length of the list, I can't believe I signed up for this. It means I'm going to draw 60 characters in 30 days. However, I can't wait to draw some prompts like Genderswapped and Cosplaying ^^

Richard Amsel? Wow! No, no I don't have the talent of this artist. I love his work. My line work is very basic, very simple, particularly in this kind of art. I wish I could draw like him one day though. Thanks a lot for your kind words and for dropping by ♥

Tumblr isn't the right place to leave a comment. It's not very designed for this. The only ways is to reblog the art and to add a comment or to go to the artist's ask box and to leave a comment :D

If I do it again, it won't be a 30 day challenge because it was too much xD Maybe the same one but without the prompts I didn't like like "Wearing animal ears" or "wearing kigurumi". I would like to reduce it to a 15 day OTP challenge and draw something less cute. :)

These are Amazing, I've been reblogging them on my tumblr account.. My favorites are 30, 21, 10, 4, 5, and 23. 23 because I think this is truly what J2 would be like if they fought about anything.. But then they would so totally make up with Kissing. ♥
I totally laughed and went Awwwww at the Gender swap cause it's so them..

SPOONING!!!!!!! FTW!!! hahahaha Dean is a cat person.. lol I actually kind of thought it was a shout out to Misha since the Minions are all Misha is a cat..

Don't ask me why but in very strange head canon, Jensen is a cat person which doesn't make sense because I think that IRL he has a dog (I am not sure, though)
Glad you loved the genderswap art because it was one of the most difficult to draw. Genderswap are hard! But it's easier to draw J2 than Misha! He is SO hard to genderswap ^^;;

I'm sure you find time to do it eventually even if you don't do the whole 30 prompts :)
Improving, I am not sure. The drawings seem to be quite alike in terms of style to me but I definitely picked up speed as I was going because some things became really automatic like the colors, the characters' feature, the design,etc..

That's what I wanted ^^ Drawing 30 art pieces that could be seen as one coherent story, as if they were all drawn for a fan fiction ^^

These are so awesome! I love the detail and their facial expressions in all of them. My favorites are probably the genderbending one (SO well done - It's hard for people to get them right as girls) and the last one :D And the one of them on a date! The pink glow just takes my breath away.

The genderswapped art was really hard to draw. Hell, genderswapped art are ALWAYS hard to draw for me! However, I am glad I didn't have to draw Misha as a woman because it's really, REALLY hard! (I know, I tried ^^;;)

this is almost more cute than i can stand! i especially like the cuddling and the kissing (jensen standing on his tiptoes!) and the morning ritual and the beach pic, and genderswapped!jared is really, really cute and recognizably him. er. her. also? i love the strategically-placed sheet in the last pic. :D

Oh yes, the sheet on the last picture...I didn't want to draw something too, too porny, so I put a sheet on Jared's head but if you look carefully, you will notice that the sheet is transparent and that you can see what is happening underneath xD

These are amazing! I can't believe you completed all 30 in such a short time, holy moly *___* My favourites are 14, 17, 26, and 28 (Gotye's eyes alone make this one awesome, haha!)

You know what, I can't believe I completed it either! xD It was long and some prompts were more difficult than other but I made yeeeeeeeeeah \o/
Oh yes. Gotye's eyes...I really wanted him to look ridiculous and creepy, IDK why ^o^ :)

I actually physically sqeaked when I saw some of those pieces! They are just so adorable and fun! And even though there's no fic for these pieces, I really get a sense of a story or verse with this set.
